Wasabi Fruit Smoothie HIT! New Way To Prevent Muscle Cramps #vegan #yoga

I cycle, a lot and when I’ve done a good day on the bike more often than not, in the night, I’ll be woken up in pain from my adductors cramping.  I’ve checked out possible causes and from what I’ve learnt so far, non of what implies muscle cramp applies to me.  So stumbling on the above article was good timing.

The smoothie is a recipe from only I’ve modified it just a little bit.

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 limes
  • 2 pears
  • 3 kiwis
  • 1 tspn freshly ground ginger
  • 1.5 tblsp wasabi powder
  • 1 tspn agave


Coconut water in blender, with juice from both limes, I don’t peel fruit, not even the kiwis, just make sure you wash them and put them into the blender.  Add remainder of ingredients and blend for 1 minute.  You could add ice to make the smoothie colder, add more agave and or wasabi too.

The ingredients makes about 3/4 servings so if it’s just for one then will have experiment with quantities.

For me a small serving is enough, hubby tried the rest.  I loved it, hubby isn’t sure but it’s good for him so he never complains.

Tomorrow, I’ll try a chilli smoothie and keep the blog posted on progress.
